American Samoa WIC Office Overview
The American Samoa WIC Office is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Established in 1995, it serves low-income pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children under five who are at nutritional risk. The program provides nutritious foods, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support to eligible participants. In American Samoa, the WIC program is managed by the Department of Human and Social Services, with its main clinic located in Utulei, and satellite clinics in Pava'ia'i and the Manu’a islands. The clinics serve different villages across American Samoa, and walk-ins are welcome.
