Citroën is a large automotive manufacturer from France, and has been a subsidiary of PSA Peugeot Citroën since 1976. Since 2021, Citroën has become a subsidiary of Stellantis. Founded in 1919 by André-Gustave Citroën, Citroën was the first mass car manufacturer outside the United States, and was the originator of the concept of selling cars and repairing them in one location. In just eight years, Citroën managed to become the largest car manufacturer in Europe and the fourth largest in the world.
