LOGÍSTICA BRASIL was created on 12/11/2014, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The initial project was developed so that we would be a regional entity. Over time, given our intense involvement in relevant issues, at a national and even international level, we realized that the regional entity model was no longer meeting the objectives of the association, our associates and the thousands of companies that have benefited and continue to benefit from the many results we have obtained since our creation. Therefore, on 06/08/2020, after the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Meeting (AGOE), we changed our corporate name to LOGÍSTICA BRASIL – Brazilian Association of Users of Transport and Logistics Ports and, with this, we became an entity with its own identity and national scope, with the possibility of establishing branches in other States of the Federation and abroad. And that was not all: the changes made to our bylaws placed the public interest as a primary issue; as the direction of our work and, in fact, these changes have made our actions faster, positively impacting the association's results, in addition to further increasing the speed and capacity to act on the specific demands of our associates. With a weekly presence in Brasília-DF, LOGÍSTICA BRASIL is currently an entity respected by industry players, including and especially by those who are occasionally our adversaries, for always seeking to make a difference in its actions, in the various fronts of work in which it operates, having ethics, high technical level and reasonableness as pillars of its activities. LOGÍSTICA BRASIL's recognition can also be verified with the authorities, Regulatory Agencies, Ministries, other bodies of the executive branch and their employees. Its constant presence in Brasília has also earned the association positive recognition from many parliamentarians and politicians, given the efficient actions that the entity has and has had in the legislative houses, in several bills, managing to achieve success in all of them. We also have the respect of the country's major media outlets and those specific to the sectors in which we operate. The serious, focused and consistent work of LOGÍSTICA BRASIL has ended up expanding our operations, precisely because it has aroused the interest of service providers, such as port terminals, national shipping companies that operate in cabotage, long-haul, port and maritime support. Given the vast experience and specific knowledge of our board, the entity is currently also prepared to welcome companies that operate in the oil, gas and energy segments. Here, we work hard for Brazil. We are tireless and carry with us a combative spirit, and our goal is to see our country grow. We have formed our convictions and we fight for them and will always fight, incessantly and without measuring efforts. There have been many times in our history when we were the only entity to go against common sense. This is because, before we take on a case, we evaluate everything thoroughly and defend what is best for the country and, consequently, for our members. LOGÍSTICA BRASIL was created to be a protagonist and not a mere supporting actor. We are willing to do, every day, what very few or no other entity is doing. That is why we are a winning association; a reference association. We have a lot to do for the country. We have created great representation and today we have tens of thousands of companies in our membership, directly and indirectly.
