JSAF’s mission is to provide a broad range of high quality education abroad opportunities for Japanese students. We strongly believe that these study abroad experiences enhance student’s international awareness, build the skills they need to succeed in their local societies as well as in the international community, and develop their potential to become future global leaders. JSAF is dedicated to expanding the field of study abroad globally and to increasing access to these opportunities for students who have not traditionally enjoyed the benefits of study abroad.

Children's Future Fund, a general incorporated association, would like to warmly watch over children who have been abused, children who have disadvantaged families, and children who have lost the means of support. With this in mind, the Children's Future Fund was established. We will consider the future of children in orphanages and support them.
Since the 1991 Gulf War, the number of children in Iraq with cancer and leukemia has increased. In Japan, treatment technology for childhood leukemia has improved significantly over the past 10 years, and more than 80% of cases of leukemia are now curable. However, around this time in Iraq, economic sanctions imposed by the international community based on United Nations resolutions caused many children to die due to dilapidated hospital equipment and continued shortages of medicines. After the 2003 Iraq War, economic sanctions were lifted, but ODA from each country and support from international organizations have stalled, and the situation has not improved.
